Default direction is forward. Scroll down to add forward speed; scroll up to flip to backward and add backward speed. Speed holds where you left it (no decay) until you scroll again. Reset with the button in the panel.
Tune the feel live in the control panel — base speed, how much each scroll pixel adds, the cap, and optional decay back to baseline.
